Port is a slow, seductive sip.
Knipprath Cellars Au Chocolate Port has a strong chocolate nose and subtle finish. Knipprath uses cocoa beans to infuse the chocolate flavors in the Cabernet Sauvignon he uses to make this Port-style wine.
I liked it 10 years ago and tonight being a cool and rainy night, it’s pretty perfect. Port in Washington is rare. Sadly, this local winery is closed but especially tonight...not forgotten.
