Rogue from the Recipe : Salsa


This Avocado Mango Salsa hardly resembles the original recipe, I carefully cut out of a Martha Stewart Living magazine in the mid 90's.



It's better! 

Be fearless in the kitchen and go rogue from recipe and delicious things happen.

Here's the Recipe: Ladle over chicken, skirt steak or with warm tortillas. 

*2-3 avocados cubed
*3T fresh lime juice (2 limes) 
*1 mango cubed
*1 sm seedless cucumber cut into 1/4" pieces
*2 T thinly sliced red onion 
*Coarsely chopped fresh cilantro to taste
*Habanero pepper diced
*JalapeƱo pepper diced
*Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
*Dash hot sauce

Confession: Sometimes I just add stuff, such as organic heirloom cherry tomatoes or freshly diced peaches. 

Serve within an hour or refrigerate in airtight container for up to 3 hours
