Java on Sherman (Cda)

324 E Sherman Ave
Coeur d’Alene, ID 83814
(208) 667-0010

I’m a fan of the indy coffee shop complete with mismatched furniture and a barista with dreadlocks and possibly random piercing. I like that slightly bohemian feel to my cafes. You know, where locals hang out and you feel like a poetry reading may break out. However, there is one major requirement - this anti-starbucks needs to have GREAT coffee. Java on Sherman may be this place. Besides being awarded best coffee in North Idaho, they serve a pretty darn good breakfast.

Preface:
"Okay, we don't hate Starbucks, how could we?
They are a Washington company and conveniently scattered all over town, so we are semi-regular customers. We do appreciate a Starbucks alternative, though; therefore, here is a list of a few of our favorite local "indy" coffee houses we suggest you try."
